Dreams from a delicate desolation...
Take a walk with us, through memories and photos, and…
…as we tread softly through impressions of a place that feels like it is from a long, long time ago…
It is a land not only of Kung Fu nuns…

…and pink coloured, savoury tea…
…but also of the highest saltwater lake in the world, that changes colour, too!
People have been living here since ancient times…
…and while the roots are antique and foggy…
…the current inhabitants are alive in joy…
…and faith…
…and their cultures are richly layered…
…and contain windows into many perspectives…
…that are magnified by the vast landscapes…
…and the stunning, silent solitude…
…of Ladakh!
One cannot live on bread alone…
…but to be fair, one remembers that the one question that remains even after all questions of space, time, matter, and the nature of being have been resolved is— ”Where shall we have dinner?”
And Ladakh answers that too…
…with great aplomb!
(yum!)
